About Me

I’m Dr. Rindie Coker, DN, a naprapath and functional wellness practitioner based in Villa Park, Illinois, serving the Chicago western suburbs and beyond. I work with people who are dealing with chronic pain, “mystery” symptoms that haven’t been explained by standard testing, and long-term weight or metabolic struggles—particularly women over 50 who feel like they’ve “tried everything” and still don’t feel like themselves.

My background is in naprapathic manual therapy and functional wellness, and over the years I’ve found that my most successful cases come when we look at the body as a set of interconnected systems—structural, biochemical, nervous system, and energetic—rather than isolated parts. Many of my patients are sensitive, intuitive, or highly creative. They often know on some level that “something deeper is going on,” even when their labs look “normal.”

To address this, I developed Chromatic Alignment Therapy (CAT), my integrated framework that brings together:

Gentle hands-on bodywork to address tension, alignment, and connective tissue health
Functional nutrition and targeted lab testing to identify metabolic, inflammatory, and hormonal contributors
Bioenergetic testing to help “decode” what the body is trying to communicate when symptoms don’t match the lab work
Energy-based modalities such as light and color therapy, homeopathy, and PEMF to help shift stuck patterns in the nervous system, body tissues, and energy field
The aim of CAT is not just symptom suppression, but to untangle underlying patterns so that pain and other symptoms can ease and people can start to feel at home in their bodies again.

For patients whose primary concern is metabolic and weight-related, I also offer the Metabolic Calibration Collective, a five-month CAT-based program focused on metabolic health, nervous system regulation, and a more peaceful relationship with food and the body. The program is especially geared toward women 50+ who are tired of restrictive dieting and the weight-loss roller coaster. We look at diet history, run appropriate metabolic and related labs, and then use a combination of re-nourishment, functional nutrition, and homeopathic metabolic support to gently recalibrate hunger and satiety signaling, support liver and detox pathways, and help the nervous system feel safer with change. Group support and aftercare are built in to help changes last and to reduce the “yo-yo” rebound that is so common with conventional weight-loss approaches.

Across all of my work, my style is:

Collaborative: I expect you to be an active participant in your care, and I’ll explain what I’m seeing in plain language.
Root-cause oriented: I’m always asking why patterns are showing up, not just what label to put on them.
Integrative: I’m comfortable combining hands-on therapy, functional lab interpretation, nutrition, and energy-based tools when appropriate.
Respectful of sensitivity: Many of my patients are sensitive to medications, stre
