About Me
Dr. Chin began her career in the alternative healthcare field in 1990 as a Licensed Massage Therapist specializing in deep tissue and sports massage. In 1993, she graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. She later relocated to Houston, TX, where she earned her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Texas Chiropractic College in 1998. After practicing in Houston, Dr. Chin moved to California in 2001, where she continued her clinical practice and taught at local massage schools, eventually becoming a program director. She opened her private practice in the Carmichael, CA area in 2006.In 2013, Dr. Chin returned to Houston, TX, where she pursued her passion for education by teaching high school Health Sciences to future healthcare workers. In 2026, she returned to clinical practice to help people heal naturally through Functional Medicine. Her virtual practice focuses on functional medicine, nutritional supplementation, and addressing musculoskeletal and emotional concerns. Dr. Chin believes in doing what it takes to help the body heal itself and perform at a maximum potential.
