About Me
With more than 25 years of experience in the medical field, I have had the privilege of caring for patients across emergency medicine, hospital medicine, aesthetics, and wellness. Each area has shaped the way I practice today and strengthened my belief that exceptional healthcare requires us to look beyond symptoms and understand the whole person. My background in emergency and hospital medicine taught me to remain calm in complex situations, recognize subtle changes in a patient’s condition, and make thoughtful, evidence-informed decisions. I have cared for people during some of their most vulnerable moments and have seen firsthand how chronic illness, metabolic dysfunction, hormonal changes, stress, poor sleep, nutritional deficiencies, and lifestyle factors can gradually affect a person’s overall health and quality of life.My experience in aesthetic medicine added another important perspective: how people feel about their appearance is often closely connected to how they feel physically and emotionally. While aesthetic treatments can help patients feel more confident, I also became increasingly interested in the underlying factors that influence skin health, body composition, energy, aging, inflammation, and overall wellness. This naturally led me to functional and integrative medicine—a more comprehensive approach that seeks to understand why symptoms are occurring, not simply how to temporarily manage them. Functional medicine allows me to bring together my clinical experience with a deeper evaluation of hormone balance, gut health, nutrition, metabolic health, weight management, sleep, stress, inflammation, and healthy aging. At Bright Beauty MedSpa (& Wellness), my goal is to provide thoughtful, personalized care that connects inner health with outer confidence. I want patients to feel heard, respected, and actively involved in their healthcare decisions. Rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach, I consider each person’s symptoms, health history, laboratory findings, lifestyle, and individual goals when developing a plan.My approach may include comprehensive laboratory evaluation, hormone optimization, medical weight management, nutritional and lifestyle support, peptide or longevity-focused therapies when clinically appropriate, and collaboration with other healthcare professionals. Patient education and safety remain central to every recommendation. My years in emergency and hospital medicine showed me the serious consequences that can develop when health concerns progress unnoticed or unmanaged. My work in aesthetics taught me the importance of confidence, self-care, and helping people feel comfortable in their own skin. Functional and integrative medicine brings these experiences together by creating an opportunity to be proactive—to identify imbalances earlier, support the body’s natural systems, and help patients build sustainable habits for long-term health.I am passionate about helping wom
