About Me

Elizabeth Boone, founder of Win from Within Wellness is a board‑certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a deep passion for root‑cause medicine and whole‑body health optimization. Her career began in high‑acuity trauma care, where she spent years serving as a Trauma 1 ER nurse before earning her Family Nurse Practitioner degree in 2014.

Her commitment to functional medicine grew during her time as a primary care provider for underserved geriatric patients facing complex conditions such as CHF, CAD, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, diabetes, obesity, thyroid disorders, metabolic and hormonal imbalances. She witnessed firsthand how many patients were becoming sicker, not healthier after years of being placed on medications without anyone asking why their symptoms were happening in the first place.

Elizabeth began practicing differently. She assessed each patient individually, safely deprescribed unnecessary medications, and empowered her patients with lifestyle‑based strategies like movement, nutrition, stress regulation, weight loss and restorative sleep. For the first time, many of her patients began to feel real improvement and she quickly learned just how powerful and resilient the human body really is.

Elizabeth’s deeper shift into functional medicine began with her own health struggles. Despite years of severe gut dysfunction, hormonal and metabolic imbalance symptoms, and early perimenopause into menopause, she was repeatedly told that her labs and diagnostic imaging “were normal.” Conventional, symptom‑based care offered no answers.

Refusing to accept dismissal or confusion, she immersed herself in functional medicine and root‑cause healing. Through this work, she rebuilt her metabolism, restored hormonal balance, healed her gut, and created sustainable systems that supported her body through major life transitions.

That transformation changed everything for her — not just as a clinician, but as a woman, a mother, and a human being which in turn ignited her calling to help others reclaim their health, clarity, and confidence without the band‑aid approach.
