Aloha Functional Medicine and Wellness, PLLC was founded by Karolyn Mau, a Family Nurse Practitioner with more than 30 years of experience in healthcare.Karolyn is certified in Functional Medicine through the Functional Medicine Academy and has completed additional training through the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM).Her path to Functional Medicine is both professional and deeply personal. After raising five amazing children and navigating her own chronic health challenges, she discovered firsthand how a root-cause approach to medicine can restore energy, balance, and well-being.Today she helps patients uncover the deeper causes of their symptoms through precision testing, personalized care, and the ALOHA Method™.Karolyn lives on a working cattle ranch in Texas with her husband, a retired fighter pilot, where the rhythms of nature and grounded living continue to shape her philosophy of healing.
