# Dr. Jennifer Valentin, DMSc, PA-C, FMACP**Board-Certified Physician Assistant | Functional Medicine Certified Practitioner | Founder of Superior Health & Wellness**Healthcare has been my passion for more than 35 years, and my mission has always been to provide compassionate, personalized care that empowers individuals to take control of their health and well-being.My healthcare journey began in 1991 when I joined the U.S. Army, where I received specialized medical training that established the foundation for my lifelong commitment to service and patient care. Throughout my career, I have gained extensive clinical experience in Primary Care, Pediatrics, Cardiology, Dermatology, and Psychiatry, allowing me to develop a comprehensive understanding of health and wellness.I earned my Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Florida and my Doctor of Medical Science degree from Lincoln Memorial University. I further expanded my expertise by earning my Functional Medicine certification (FMACP) through Dr. Z Functional Medicine Academy. Additionally, I have spent more than a decade educating and mentoring future healthcare professionals.In 2023, I founded **Superior Health & Wellness**, a Direct Primary Care and Wellness Center in Central Florida, with a vision of restoring the personal connection between patients and healthcare providers.My approach integrates conventional medicine with Functional and Lifestyle Medicine, focusing on identifying underlying contributors to illness rather than simply managing symptoms. I emphasize nutrition, metabolic health, lifestyle modifications, prevention, and individualized treatment plans designed to support long-term wellness.I believe healthcare should be a partnership built on trust, education, and meaningful relationships. By taking the time to listen and understand each patient's unique health journey, I strive to provide care that addresses the whole person—mind, body, and lifestyle.My goal is simple: to help patients move beyond managing illness toward achieving lasting wellness, vitality, and a healthier quality of life.
