Dr. Alicia is a dedicated functional medicine provider passionate about empowering individuals to achieve optimal health through holistic, natural, and evidence-based approaches. With a robust educational foundation and diverse clinical experience, Dr. Alicia integrates her expertise to address the root causes of illness and promote lifelong wellness.Dr. Alicia earned her Associate Degree in Nursing from Kellogg Community College in 2018, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Western Governors University in 2019. She advanced her clinical expertise by obtaining a Master of Science in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner focus from Chamberlain University in 2021. In 2024, she achieved her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Aspen University, further enhancing her ability to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care. In December of 2024, she started furthering her education through the Functional Medicine Academy. Throughout her career, Dr. Alicia has worked in various specialties, including medical-surgical, labor and delivery, neurocritical care, substance use, case management, corrections, psychiatry, and internal medicine. These experiences have shaped her unique perspective on health, emphasizing the interconnectedness of the mind, body, and spirit.Dr. Alicia’s approach to functional medicine focuses on addressing the underlying causes of chronic illness through personalized care plans that incorporate nutrition, exercise, mental health support, and naturopathic therapies. She is especially passionate about mental health, substance use recovery, and preventive care. Fluent in English and C1 level of Spanish, she strives to create an inclusive, welcoming environment for all patients.In her practice, Dr. Alicia blends traditional and alternative medicine, fostering a collaborative partnership with her patients to create sustainable, healthy lifestyles.
